Maintenance Supervisor – Bowery West Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its Bowery West community in Charlotte, NC. The role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance activities to ensure the property meets Greystar’s high standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, amenities, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.

Required profile

• Experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in multifamily residential settings.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate a maintenance team and external vendors.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety codes, and preventive maintenance practices.
