Maintenance Supervisor – Alamo Residences

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of Alamo Residences, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership to keep the community operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects from resident work orders and routine upkeep, following company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality, scope, and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical or technical issues in a residential setting.
• Experience overseeing make‑ready preparations for vacant apartments.
• Capability to develop and uphold cleanliness and appearance standards for community areas.
• Strong inspection skills to evaluate work of internal staff and external vendors.
• Organizational skills for inventory management and budgeting coordination.
