Maintenance Supervisor – Ainsworth

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the community, including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of service teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve resident service requests and routine upkeep, adhering to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas and other community spaces.
• Inspect work performed by internal service team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in company policies.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical or technical defects and determine appropriate repairs.
• Experience overseeing make‑ready operations and coordinating vendors.
• Capability to develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Strong inspection skills for both internal staff work and contractor performance.
• Organizational skills to manage inventory and budgeting for maintenance supplies.
