Maintenance Branch Electronics Technician II (ELEN)

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Maintenance Branch Electronics Technician II (ELEN) to carry out organization and intermediate-level maintenance on electrical and environmental systems components installed on aircraft such as Boeing and Gulf Stream models. The role also covers maintenance of oxygen carts, ground support equipment and batteries, and requires coordination with production supervisors and the Maintenance Operation Coordination Center.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and environmental systems components on aircraft in line with technical data requirements
• Schedule maintenance on Liquid Oxygen Carts (LOX) and Gaseous Oxygen carts (GOX)
• Maintain ground service Air Purge Units, shop Air Compressors and Fuel Cell Explosion Proof Drop Lights
• Service and maintain rotor wing, fixed wing and aerospace ground support equipment batteries, coordinating with the base through TRIRIGGA on battery storage issues
• Assist in training and directing assigned personnel, and coordinate maintenance with Production Supervisors and the Maintenance Operation Coordination Center
• Use and input data in Maintenance Information System programs
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, tool control and FOD prevention programs
• Perform other duties as assigned, including TDY and travel, and assist the 113th Air National Guard and the Navy in purging their Liquid Oxygen Carts

Required profile

• Working knowledge of electrical and environmental system repair procedures
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English, and to read and interpret data and wiring diagrams
• FAA Airframe license
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (US citizenship required)
• Ability to work day, second, third and/or weekend shifts, and occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds
• Preferred: at least three years' experience and completion of specialized electrical and environmental systems courses
