Machine Tool Technology Instructor – Full‑time

About the role

Columbus Technical College, part of the State of Georgia, is seeking a full‑time Machine Tool Technology Instructor. The role involves delivering classroom and hands‑on lab instruction in conventional and CNC machining, developing curriculum, and supporting student success across multiple counties.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct students in machine‑tool and CNC skill areas, both in classroom and laboratory settings.
• Develop and maintain program and course outlines, goals, and objectives in accordance with state standards.
• Evaluate student progress toward meeting established goals and objectives.
• Maintain program supplies, tools, and equipment in good working order.
• Ensure safety and security requirements are met in all training areas.
• Respond promptly to administrative requests and communications.
• Support student recruitment, retention, and job placement initiatives.
• Participate in staff development training, workshops, seminars, and conferences.

Required profile

• Associate degree or OR diploma in Machine Tool Technology from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in conventional or CNC machining.
• Prior training or teaching experience is required.
• Basic computer skills.
