About the role
The Production Supervisor will ensure smooth and efficient operation of the foundry finishing area, focusing on safety, quality, and schedule performance. The role requires strong management skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise union production personnel, ensuring safety, production, quality, and schedule targets are met during each shift.
- Prepare and monitor daily and weekly shift work plans, including staffing, in coordination with production planning.
- Report significant quality or productivity issues to the Machine Shop Manager for immediate corrective action.
- Maintain staffing and training plans for key operational areas and participate in ISO‑9001:2015 quality and safety audits.
Required profile
- High School Diploma required; BS in a technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of heavy‑industrial production experience in a high‑volume, union environment.
- Strong work ethic with excellent team‑building abilities and professional PC literacy.
