Machine Operator II – 3rd Shift (Mon‑Fri)

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Machine Operator II for the 3rd shift, working Monday through Friday. The role involves assembling and adding value to parts while ensuring quality standards are met. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on a fast‑growing manufacturing team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assembly and value‑adding of components.
• Monitor product quality, discarding or re‑manufacturing defective items.
• Maintain accurate daily production records.
• Execute production tasks following ALPS standards and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED with relevant manufacturing experience.
• 2–3 years experience working with machines, equipment, jigs, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints and manufacturing orders.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lb, climb, stand for long periods and use equipment.

Required skills

• Forklift (and optionally crane) certification.
• Intermediate computer proficiency.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Hands‑on experience operating manufacturing machinery and related fixtures.

• Base pay of $23.50 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential and $2.00 weekend differential for Friday nights.
