Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Machine Operator works the 2nd shift on a manufacturing line that produces PET bottles. The role involves operating blow‑mold, PET, and injection molding equipment, performing minor maintenance, and ensuring product quality while following Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key responsibilities

• Operate blow‑mold, PET, and injection molding machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshoot process problems.
• Conduct bottle inspections, drop tests, audits, and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Monitor and replenish packaging material supplies.
• Document daily production reports, rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies, and maintenance requests.
• Escalate any bottle abnormalities, defects, or quality issues immediately.
• Assist with moving finished goods to designated areas and support other duties as assigned.
