Machine Maintenance Preventative Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Machine Maintenance Preventative Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of injection molding equipment through routine inspections, preventive upkeep, and minor repairs. This role supports production goals by minimizing equipment downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and parts replacement.
• Inspect machines regularly, document findings, and report any issues.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Accurately record maintenance activities.
• Participate in training and development opportunities.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, motivated, and responsible.
• Willingness to enter apprenticeship programs.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Good math and reading comprehension skills.
• Must supply personal tools.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lb overhead and 50 lb to waist height, stand, walk, bend, stoop for extended periods, climb ladders, and work in environments with grease, oil, and solvents.
