About the role

The Lupashin Lab at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a motivated MD/PhD student to join the team as a lab student. This volunteer position offers hands‑on experience in bench research within a collaborative, diverse healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

Perform bench‑level experiments under the supervision of senior researchers.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Collect, analyze, and document experimental data.
Assist in preparing reagents and materials for ongoing studies.

Required profile

Current enrollment in an MD or PhD program.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
Commitment to full vaccination against Covid‑19 or an approved exemption.
