Low Voltage Field Operations Manager

About the role

An established low-voltage electrical contractor, ABcom, which holds BICSI Prestige Platinum Contractor status, is looking for a Field Operations Manager in Phoenix. The manager oversees design and installation projects of data/voice, security, A/V and other low-voltage cable systems, supervises project managers and keeps the warehouse organized and clean.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in large project estimation and bidding, attending bid reviews when possible
• Develop project plans and standard operating procedures
• Recruit and manage project teams and field crews, including taking part in interviews and offering letters
• Manage customer relationships and maintain project cost control, reporting to the Arizona SVP/CFO
• Help other managers across branches and offices by analyzing operations and staff performance
• Develop and implement project management best practices and provide guidance to all staff
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement quality control methods
• Schedule training sessions and workshops, maintain yearly training budgets and oversee the vehicle fleet, testing equipment and tools
• Oversee warehouse cleanliness and inventory levels, and project manage contracts and services

Required profile

• College or technical certification in a construction-related field
• 5+ years of low-voltage project management on large projects
• Team-oriented, flexible, able to handle stress and conflict constructively
• PMI PMP and BICSI RCDD certifications preferred; OSHA 30 preferred

• ProCore or similar management software and financial software
