Loop Leader – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Moog is seeking a Loop Leader to drive reliable execution and continuous improvement within the Linear Hydraulic Actuator (LHA1) value stream, supporting programs such as the V‑22. The role is based onsite in East Aurora, NY and reports to the Process Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Sustain and support daily manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and analyze production data, including parts outlook and line of balance.
• Review capacity, manage past‑due items and expediting needs.
• Manage critical parts, tooling, work orders and job prioritization.
• Participate in Tiered Management and conduct daily Gemba walks.
• Facilitate cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and remove roadblocks.
• Lead root‑cause analyses using lean tools and implement countermeasures.
• Develop, implement and sustain Standard Work Instructions.
• Drive Lean Daily Management focusing on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Identify and eliminate waste, improve procedures and build performance metrics.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience in manufacturing operations or process improvement, or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated lean problem‑solving experience using tools such as 5‑Why and Fishbone.
• Experience developing and implementing Standard Work Instructions.
• Willingness to work additional hours to meet program goals.
