Long-term Facilities Maintenance Internship

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a multi‑semester intern to support its Facilities Maintenance team in Grand Prairie, Texas. The intern will gain hands‑on experience in asset management, work order analysis, project coordination, and space planning within an industrial aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Asset Management Support: identify equipment, collect data, create and update preventive‑maintenance plans in SAP.
• Facility Work Order Analysis: monitor work order trends, diagnose repeat failures, and report maintenance metrics.
• Project Management Support: track timelines, coordinate stakeholders, maintain documentation, and prepare status reports for infrastructure projects.
• Engineering Operations & Sustainability: assist with facility audits, energy‑efficiency initiatives, and MEP system analysis.
• AutoCAD & Space Planning Support: update floor plans, assist in space utilization studies, and optimize layouts.

Required profile

• Currently residing in the Dallas‑Fort Worth metro area.
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Associate degree in Engineering or a related field.
