Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will support the planning of material flow for one or more value streams at Bosch's St. Joseph plant. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and production teams to ensure timely delivery of automotive brake components.

Key responsibilities

• Perform logistics planning including forecasting, supplier and customer planning, and inventory management.
• Communicate customer requirements, shutdowns, and demand changes to internal teams.
• Validate supplier releases, monitor status, and flag any production interruptions or capacity constraints.
• Provide logistical expertise for new product launches and engineering changes.
• Procure material from internal and external suppliers, track deliveries, expedite as needed, and develop supplier logistics.
• Lead and participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to meet plant and logistics targets.
• Monitor material parameters to optimize inventory while supporting production schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer or supplier planning.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proactive, results‑oriented attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
