Logistics Operator – 1st Shift (Mon‑Fri 10 am‑6:30 pm)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Logistics Operator to join our brand‑new food‑manufacturing warehouse in Whitehall, Ohio. The role is focused on receiving, handling, storing, picking, and loading products while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and stretch‑wrap machines as needed.
• Use scanners or handheld devices to track and move items.
• Prepare and complete orders for shipment according to schedule.
• Lift up to 50 lb and perform computer‑based order picking in cooler or freezer environments.
• Maintain accurate records of stocked and shipped products.
• Check‑in drivers, manage logs, and perform inventory cycle‑counts.
• Receive, label, and stock raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety policies.
• Report any product discrepancies, equipment issues, or safety concerns.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb and work for extended periods in coolers/freezers.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible off‑shifts, weekends or holidays.
• Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards (SQF, regulatory).
