Logistics Operations III – Transportation Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics Operations III – Transportation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating complex outbound shipments, maintaining shipment readiness visibility, supporting SAP WM execution, and implementing new logistics functions that improve standardisation, traceability and freight planning across Kalispell outbound operations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and report internal metrics/KPIs, monitor and log exceptions.
• Ensure adherence to established business processes and support development of new processes.
• Develop and implement process‑improvement projects to increase service levels and minimise costs.
• Maintain quality compliance and produce weekly status reports for in‑house process control.
• Review inventory control reports, recommend corrective actions and maintain logistics data accuracy.
• Prepare and review import/export documentation (customs declarations, SLI, SED, IC) and ensure commercial invoices match shipments.
• Administer efficient movement of goods in compliance with local, national and international customs laws.

Required profile

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP WM and outbound logistics processes.
• Business expertise linking outbound logistics with production control, engineering, order management and freight forwarding.
• Leadership ability to act as a resource for colleagues and coordinate logistics improvement workstreams.
• Problem‑solving skills to address atypical shipment issues using SAP history and freight‑forwarder information.
• Impact awareness of how late floor completions, missing components or packing‑list gaps affect shipment execution.
• Interpersonal skills to explain logistics requirements, build consensus and communicate risks.
