Logistics Operations Analyst

About the role

The Logistics Operations Analyst will oversee daily inbound and outbound transportation across the U.S. Parts Distribution Center network. The role ensures service performance, cost control, accurate freight auditing, and compliance with dangerous goods regulations while providing data‑driven insights to improve operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert for transportation across all U.S. entities, monitoring end‑to‑end shipment flow.
• Coordinate with service providers (ocean, air, DDS, trucking, parcel) to maintain service levels and operational consistency.
• Manage freight invoice approval, work with audit providers, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Analyze freight invoices and audit results to identify cost drivers, savings opportunities, and trends.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, and VBA.
• Partner with logistics leadership to standardize processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Support dangerous‑goods compliance, train employees, and ensure regulatory alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in international and domestic logistics, supply‑chain operations, or freight audit.
• Knowledge of hazardous‑materials handling and dangerous‑goods regulations (preferred).
• Certification as an IATA Dangerous Goods Trainer or DGR Category 6 (preferred).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualization.
• Ability to develop VBA macros for automation.
