About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Logistics Material Coordinator/Handler II to manage material flow, inventory, and shipments in its Austin facility. The role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate inventory, timely material transfers, and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Locate, audit, and transfer kits or materials as required, including satellite receiving functions.
• Perform material pick‑up or drop‑off at vendor sites using a van or truck.
• Conduct cycle counts, verify inventory, and process non‑conforming material.
• Receive parts, update inventory records, and perform transactions in Oracle or other inventory systems.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles such as pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and overhead cranes, adhering to safety protocols.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, material handling, or inventory management.

Required skills

• SAP inventory system.
• Oracle inventory system.
• Forklift operation.
• Pallet jack operation.
• Overhead crane operation.
