Logistician III – US Coast Guard Support

About the role

Solutions Through Innovative Technologies, Inc. (STI-TEC) is seeking a Logistician III to provide logistics support to the United States Coast Guard (USCG) aviation units, including the Aviation Logistics Center, Aviation Projects Acquisition Center and the Office of Aeronautical Engineering. The position focuses on managing kitting, inventory, and supply‑chain activities to ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment for aircraft maintenance and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Attend daily and weekly meetings (Theory of Constraints, Issue Resolution, Full Kit, Industrial Team) and report supply or kitting issues affecting production schedules.
• Review logistics performance against targets, benchmarks and service agreements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet customer requirements and minimize impacts on product lines and air stations.
• Evaluate material, supply and finished‑product availability to maximize value and reduce costs.
• Maintain positive relationships with key logistics personnel and present solutions through written proposals and oral presentations.
• Estimate quantities, costs, resources and materials needed for full kitting and ensure proper receipt of equipment.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, adjust kits as needed, and report back‑orders or delays.
• Maintain kit inventory status in Concerto and at control points, conduct quarterly kit reviews, and perform daily two‑bin inventory maintenance.
• Organize and update the tag bible for routed assets and respond to kit‑status inquiries.
• Develop training materials, process guides and conduct internal audits for full‑kit processes.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking of English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
