Loader Operator – Day Shift

About the role
AHF Products is seeking a reliable Loader Operator to join our lumber yard team on the first (day) shift. Reporting to the Mill Supervisor, you will handle logs and lumber loads, ensuring smooth yard operations and timely deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Load flat‑bed lumber trailers and unload/move lumber carts.
- Sort and stack logs and lumber packs using a wheel loader or lumber lift.
- Organize the lumber yard, track incoming loads, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by mill management.
Required profile
- Pass background check, employment verification, and drug screening.
- Positive, verifiable work history in wood manufacturing.
- Experience operating a log loader or lumber forklift.
- Ability to lift 20‑50 lb objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, time‑management skills, and teamwork orientation.
