About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a Loader Lead – Forklift Operator Lead for its Huntsville, AL Service Center. The role involves loading and unloading trailers in a fast‑paced LTL environment while supervising dock workers and ensuring safety and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Unload and load trailers safely and efficiently.
- Read manifests and supervise dock workers during trailer turnaround.
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely trailer movements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading dock area.
- Support a fast‑paced workflow while adhering to safety procedures.
Required profile
- Able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Previous leadership and forklift experience in a fast‑paced LTL warehouse.
- Strong attendance record and ability to work well in a team.
- Commitment to safety procedures and ability to follow company policies.
- Willingness to work varied Monday‑Friday shifts.
