Live Event Manager

About the role

Bisnow is seeking a Live Event Manager to join its Washington, D.C. team. You will coordinate on‑site execution of high‑impact commercial real‑estate events, working both in the office and traveling to regional venues. The role blends hands‑on event logistics with vendor management and client support.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all on‑site logistics for live events in the DMV area, including venue, AV, catering and party rentals.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and venue staff, ensuring contracts and services are secured on tight timelines.
• Handle event registration, name‑tags, signage, and on‑site ticket processing through Bisnow’s Square account.
• Support sponsoring clients throughout the event lifecycle, providing timely updates and assistance.
• Produce and distribute event media (photos, videos, sponsor presentations) for internal marketing and sales teams.
• Collaborate with party‑rental vendors to set up stages, chairs, and AV equipment.
• Research competing conferences to inform scheduling and positioning of Bisnow events.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of live event coordination or management experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong organization, self‑discipline and ambition.
• Positive, energetic attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, sales‑driven environment.
• Willingness to travel monthly to the Carolinas or Nashville.
