Litigation Paralegal – New York

About the role

Bush & Bush Law Group, a plaintiff personal injury firm, is looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal with deep knowledge of New York law. The successful candidate will lead the paralegal team, develop legal strategies, and provide direct support throughout complex litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and train foreign paralegal staff, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests from scratch, creating tailored discovery strategies.
• Prepare precise jury charges and use them to draft petitions, complaints and targeted discovery.
• Draft comprehensive petitions, pleadings and complaints for state and federal courts.
• Review and analyze discovery records and evidence, drafting motions to compel when needed.
• Monitor all court deadlines and statutes to guarantee timely, error‑free filings.
• Assemble complete trial binders and prepare materials to support attorneys at trial.
• Draft legal motions with clear argumentation and analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of paralegal experience in New York plaintiff personal injury litigation.
• Proven ability to independently draft and respond to discovery and develop case‑specific strategies.
• Experience with federal filings preferred.
• Fluency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership in training and supervising junior staff.
