Litigation Associate Attorney – Fall River, MA

About the role

Our client, a growing full‑service law firm, is looking for a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Fall River office. The role offers a hybrid schedule and the opportunity to manage cases from assessment through trial while delivering high‑quality written work and courtroom advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from initial assessment to trial with minimal supervision.
• Draft, file and argue complex pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, participate in mediations, and represent clients in court.
• Develop case strategies, evaluate risks, and advise clients on litigation and pre‑suit options.
• Perform legal research using Lexis and other platforms.
• Interview clients, witnesses and experts while maintaining comprehensive case files.
• Oversee discovery processes and supervise staff on document review projects.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure effective representation and client service.

Required profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school and a Bachelor’s degree.
• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and in good standing.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience in state and federal courts.
• Strong knowledge of Massachusetts and federal court rules and procedures.
• Excellent oral advocacy, legal writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
