Litigation and E-Discovery Counsel

About the role

Samsara is expanding its in‑house legal team and seeks an agile Litigation and E‑Discovery Counsel to handle a broad spectrum of litigation, compliance, and privacy matters. The role will support high‑stakes disputes, pre‑litigation strategy, and the development of scalable legal processes for a fast‑growing global business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead high‑impact litigation and pre‑litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Advise cross‑functional product, operations, and engineering teams on litigation strategy and risk mitigation.
• Oversee and coordinate outside counsel, ensuring alignment with business priorities and cost effectiveness.
• Develop and implement litigation, compliance, and privacy processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address privacy and data‑protection issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a litigator handling complex, high‑stakes cases.
• Strong understanding of compliance and privacy law.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt legal strategy to business needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Comfortable managing high‑pressure situations and multiple simultaneous projects.
