About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Liquor Manager to lead the daily operations of our Phoenix store. The role involves overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and driving the store’s financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule and assign employees to meet operational needs.
- Review gross profit reports, set promotions and drive sales.
- Analyse stock‑take, ranking and sales data, and perform daily spreadsheet analysis.
- Maintain profitability by achieving sales targets and GP goals.
- Train, guide and motivate store staff while enforcing company policies.
- Manage stock control, determine purchase quantities and negotiate pricing.
- Ensure merchandise availability, prevent expired stock and secure best promotional deals.
- Implement security measures and maintain a safe, clean store environment.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a retail managerial position.
- Experience in the liquor retail environment is advantageous.
- Qualification in Business Management or Administration is a plus.
- Strong computer proficiency.
