Linux DevOps Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Linux DevOps Administrator to build, maintain, and secure mission‑critical IT systems for our customers. The role requires close collaboration with program developers and system engineers to diagnose issues and implement robust solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and harden Red Hat Linux environments, including patch management, RPM packaging, performance tuning, networking, LDAP user management, and security hardening.
• Provide after‑hour maintenance and on‑call support, including hardware installation that may require lifting up to 35 lb.
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to research problems, determine root causes, and deliver corrective actions.
• Support occasional travel for on‑site installation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain compliance with security clearance requirements and ensure system integrity.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph.
• Security+ or CISSP certification.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with three years.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot efficiently.

Required skills

• Administration of Red Hat Linux systems.
• Automation with Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Windows system administration.
• CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory.
• Deployment and management of infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
