Line Cook – Summit Club

About the role

The Summit Club, a Discovery Land Company venue outside Las Vegas, is seeking a Line Cook to join its Culinary Department. The role supports the team by preparing dishes, handling deliveries, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment, contributing to memorable dining experiences for members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and stock your station with mise en place for daily service.
• Prepare menu items across all food outlets following Executive Chef recipes.
• Cook dishes to quality, presentation, and safety standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and monitor temperatures.
• Manage inventory, rotate stock, and alert the Sous Chef of low items.
• Work various stations (line, salad, prep) and assist with vegetable chopping, meat cutting, and fish filleting.
• Receive and store deliveries, and keep work areas clean.

Required profile

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent; culinary coursework preferred.
• At least 1 year experience as a line or prep cook in fine‑dining, luxury resort or private club.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Positive attitude, strong communication and ability to stay calm during busy periods.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
