Lifecycle Engineer – B-52/F130

About the role

Rolls‑Royce is seeking a Lifecycle Engineer to provide world‑class technical support for B‑52 and F130 products throughout their service life. The role focuses on ensuring design intent, safety, reliability and cost‑effectiveness by modelling product performance and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage known and potential safety issues, participate in safety boards and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to resolve operational queries and lead investigations to determine root causes.
• Conduct technical surveillance, quality‑assurance audits and continuous product enhancement.
• Develop and approve technical publications and acceptance limits for OEMs and customers.
• Set reliability targets, monitor performance and predict future safety/reliability using statistical techniques.

Required profile

• Strong engineering background with experience in aerospace product life‑cycle management.
• Proven ability to analyse failure data, conduct risk assessments and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with OEMs, maintenance bases and internal teams.
