About the role

The company is seeking an experienced field leader to direct and supervise construction crews on multiple projects. The role involves managing a team of more than 30 employees, ensuring quality, safety, and cost targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a commercial crew of 30+ employees across several jobs.
• Communicate staffing needs to the Production Manager and ensure proper crew allocation.
• Participate in pre‑planning meetings and set daily job goals.
• Calculate unit costs based on material, labor hours, and take corrective actions to meet budgets.
• Enter daily time and production data using the E&K Austin system.
• Create and execute job‑specific quality‑control tasks and perform routine inspections, reporting via the Go Canvas app.
• Generate material orders for designated areas and manage subcontractor schedules.
• Monitor job cost reports, forecast monthly costs, and manage overall job cost performance.
• Attend all required training sessions and on‑site meetings.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Completed 30‑hour OSHA training and field‑management training.
• Proven ability to manage crews of more than 30 workers.
• Strong knowledge of construction tools, equipment, materials, and building codes.
• Solid mathematical skills for cost calculations.
• Ability to work safely on ladders, scaffolds, or stilts.
• Effective verbal and written communication, including active listening.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Bluebeam.
• Experience using OST software.
• Familiarity with Quick Bid estimating tool.
• Ability to generate reports through the Go Canvas application.
