Licensed Practical Nurse – Crisis Stabilization Unit

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Pathways Center Care Campus. You will work in a 24/7 crisis stabilization environment providing essential nursing care to adults and youth experiencing acute psychiatric or behavioral crises.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to clients as needed.
• Assist the Registered Nurse with medication oversight, including order processing and coordination with the on‑site pharmacist.
• Accurately use the electronic Medication Administration Record (MAR) system.
• Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, and participate in daily team staffing.

Required profile

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, 24/7 crisis stabilization setting.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with the medical team and pharmacy.
