Licensed Plumber – Residential Service & Apprentice Training

About the role

SALT Service Co. is a fast‑growing home‑services company in Austin, TX, known for its white‑glove residential service. The Licensed (Master) Plumber will perform hands‑on plumbing work, lead an apprentice, and help establish the plumbing department as a market leader.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a company van with an apprentice, responding to residential service calls using Service Titan on a company‑provided iPad.
• Perform plumbing installations, repairs, inspections, and site visits while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with HVAC and electrical technicians on multidisciplinary jobs.
• Coach and train the apprentice through ride‑alongs, technical instruction, and on‑the‑job mentorship.
• Maintain safety standards, wear required protective gear, and adhere to company values.

Required profile

• Valid Journeyman or Tradesman Plumbing License.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Progressive work history in residential plumbing.
• Willingness to teach best practices and develop the plumbing team.
• Successful completion of drug screening and background check.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Service Titan software.
• Residential plumbing installation and repair.
• Apprentice training and technical coaching.
