Licensed Dump Truck Driver

About the role

Tucker Paving Inc. and Jet Materials are seeking a licensed Dump Truck Driver to transport dirt, aggregates, asphalt and equipment safely and on schedule to multiple construction sites. The position involves operating a company‑assigned dump truck, coordinating routes with dispatch, and maintaining accurate delivery records.

Key responsibilities

• Drive long distances to deliver construction materials while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Load and unload materials as required at job sites.
• Log deliveries, hours worked and vehicle inspections accurately.
• Keep the truck clean, refuel regularly, and report any mechanical issues.
• Use GPS to plan efficient routes and ensure timely arrivals.
• Handle accidents or road incidents according to company procedures.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers and coworkers.
• Attend work regularly and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum three (3) years of professional driving experience.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test and hold a valid medical certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays.

Required skills

• Proficient use of GPS navigation for route planning.
• Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance knowledge.
• Accurate record‑keeping of deliveries and hours.
