Licensed DBT Therapist (Telehealth, Full-Time)

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, a partner of Lyra Health, is hiring a full-time, MA licensed DBT therapist to deliver individual DBT and DBT skills groups via live video to adult clients. The role uses Lyra Care Therapy, which blends live video sessions with between-session digital psychoeducation and skill-building tools, and offers 24/7 access to licensed clinicians trained in DBT skills coaching. The therapist works remotely in the US.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual DBT and DBT skills groups via live video to adult clients
• Assign DBT-relevant digital lessons, videos and assessments to clients to reinforce learning and monitor outcomes between sessions
• Attend weekly consultation team meetings and one-on-one consultations with an expert DBT team lead
• Co-lead DBT skills groups with other DBT providers and take part in ongoing clinical trainings
• Deliver culturally responsive care to clients with diverse backgrounds and needs

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted Massachusetts license to practice independently, with no current or pending disciplinary action
• Formal didactic DBT training (e.g., in-house training, Behavioral Tech, DBT Foundational or Intensive Training)
• At least one year of comprehensive DBT experience, including Stage 1 individual therapy, skills groups using Linehan materials, consultation team participation and skills coaching
• DBT-LBC certification preferred but not required
• Comfort working with high-risk clients, including those with suicidal ideation and/or self-injury
• Willingness to obtain cross-licensing in other states as needed

Required skills

• Live video and telehealth tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, DoxyMe or Skype
• Experience providing telehealth therapy preferred but not required
