Licensed Certified Social Worker (Clinical Psychiatry)

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Certified Social Worker to join the psychiatry clinical staff at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The position is a full‑time day‑shift role focused on delivering social work services within a multidisciplinary mental health team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and address the psychosocial needs of patients receiving psychiatric care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clinicians.
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and resource linkage for patients and families.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with institutional policies.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System or eligible graduate assistant.
• Valid licensure as a Certified Social Worker in the United States.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
