Licensed Architect – Luxury Multifamily & Mixed-Use Projects

About the role

We are a leading New York City real‑estate developer seeking a seasoned Licensed Architect to lead the design and delivery of luxury multifamily and mixed‑use projects. The role spans concept development through construction administration, ensuring high‑quality outcomes that meet code, budget, and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and project execution for residential and mixed‑use developments.
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents using BIM, preferably Autodesk Revit.
• Ensure compliance with NYC Building Code, zoning, ADA, and permitting requirements.
• Coordinate with developers, consultants, contractors, and government agencies.
• Review RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals while supporting construction administration.
• Conduct site visits, resolve design issues, and maintain project quality, schedule, and budget.
• Mentor junior architects and support value‑engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• Licensed Architect (New York license preferred).
• 20+ years of architectural experience.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
• Extensive knowledge of NYC Building Code, zoning, and permitting.
• Experience with high‑rise residential, condominium, and mixed‑use developments.
• Strong leadership, project‑management, and communication skills.
