About the role
The Level II NDT Technician will conduct industrial inspections of on‑shore and off‑shore piping, pipelines, pressure vessels, and structural components. The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and the ability to travel on short notice to client sites, manufacturing facilities, and offshore locations. Flexibility to work in remote and challenging environments is essential.
Key responsibilities
- Perform inspections using various NDT methods such as radiography, magnetic particle, visual, ultrasonic thickness, and dye penetrant testing.
- Prepare and calibrate inspection equipment and tools before each task.
- Document findings with cameras, video, and written reports, ensuring compliance with project and industry standards.
- Generate detailed inspection reports using computer software and maintain accurate records.
- Follow offshore safety protocols, wear required PPE, and participate in safety drills.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
- Support general inspection and maintenance activities as assigned.
- Operate radiographic equipment in accordance with regulations and maintain proper documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum two years documented Level II NDT experience with certifications in Radiography, Magnetic Particle, Visual, Ultrasonic Thickness, and Dye Penetrant testing.
- Valid State Radiographer Card, driver’s license, TWIC card, passport, SafeGulf and HUET water survival certifications.
- Ability to work offshore and onshore, including extended periods in remote locations and confined spaces.
- Successful completion of a Respiratory Fit Test for H₂S environments.
