About the role
Job Duck is seeking a Legal Executive Assistant to provide office administration, operational support, and light legal assistance for its US‑based clients. This fully remote, full‑time position works Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm PST, and offers the chance to keep daily workflows running smoothly while supporting billing, payroll, and basic legal tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emails and internal communications.
- Attend and actively participate in scheduled meetings.
- Own recurring processes such as payroll reminders, approvals, and billing administration.
- Monitor voicemails, assign issues, and ensure timely follow‑up.
- Provide basic legal assistance and support case‑management documentation.
- Assist with event planning, calendar management, and task‑tracking systems.
- Maintain accurate office workflows and meet all deadline requirements.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years experience as an Executive Assistant.
- Legal background highly appreciated; billing knowledge a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with case‑management or legal software (e.g., Smokeball).
- Familiarity with Zoom and Adobe document tools.
- Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently.
- Reliable remote workstation with stable internet and a quiet environment.
