Legal Counsel – US Operations

About the role

Omnea is looking for a mid‑level attorney to become its first legal presence in the United States. Reporting to the Head of Legal in London, you will act as the primary legal partner for the US go‑to‑market team, shaping how the legal function supports rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate commercial agreements such as MSAs, SLAs and DPAs with enterprise clients.
• Own US data‑privacy matters, negotiate data‑processing terms and advise on state, international privacy laws and cross‑border transfers.
• Manage high‑volume contract workflows, triage requests and unblock sales negotiations.
• Develop and maintain playbooks, fallback positions and standard clauses for common transactions.
• Support corporate transactions and contribute to the company’s compliance and information‑security agenda.

Required profile

• Mid‑level attorney with experience in commercial, corporate and compliance work.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and advise cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of US data‑privacy regulations and enterprise contract negotiation.
