Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to lead internal legal operations for our fast‑growing AI‑decisioning company. In this middle‑management position you will oversee end‑to‑end legal processes, corporate governance and multi‑jurisdictional compliance for our U.S. parent and entities in four other jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Direct cross‑border legal operations across five operating jurisdictions and serve as the primary liaison for external specialized law firms and regional consultants.
• Oversee AI legal compliance, monitor emerging regulations such as the EU AI Act and U.S. AI frameworks, and establish data input safety guardrails.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with data‑privacy regimes (CCPA, GDPR, UK GDPR, PIPEDA, KVKK) and coordinate with local counsel for complex requirements.
• Manage corporate secretarial duties, including Board of Directors decisions, General Assembly processes, circulatory resolutions and statutory record maintenance.
• Support international growth and restructuring by advising on company establishments, corporate presence and team assignments in new markets.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks related to AI deployment and company data privacy.

Required profile

• Experienced legal professional comfortable managing multi‑jurisdictional compliance and corporate governance.
• Familiarity with AI regulations and data‑privacy laws across major jurisdictions.
