Legal Counsel II

About the role

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel II to provide comprehensive legal advice and support to the corporation and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver legal counsel on corporate matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide written opinions on regulatory issues.
• Support business units in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting company operations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve legal disputes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA‑accredited law school and admission to the bar (or equivalent qualification in the local country).
• Four to six years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Superior academic record and demonstrated competency in corporate law.
• Fluency in English; full professional proficiency in Spanish is required for preferred candidates.
• Ability to work in Miami, FL or Puerto Rico.
