Legal Content Analyst (Criminal Law)

About the role

We are looking for a JD‑qualified professional to lead the development and maintenance of Practical Guidance content for the Criminal Law practice area. You will ensure that legal content stays accurate, practical, and up‑to‑date while integrating emerging technologies such as AI to improve efficiency and customer value.

Key responsibilities

• Design, own, and execute the content upkeep process for Criminal Law, creating workflows that align updates with business priorities and success metrics.
• Monitor legal developments, legislation, regulations, agency guidance, and court decisions, assessing their impact on existing Practical Guidance content.
• Conduct legal research and editorial tasks to update Practical Guidance, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and legal accuracy.
• Draft, revise, and edit content to meet editorial standards and maintain consistency across resources.
• Maintain customer‑facing tools such as legal development trackers to provide timely coverage of significant changes.
• Lead remediation projects focused on content quality, usability, navigation, organization, and currency.
• Incorporate AI and emerging technologies into editorial workflows, evaluating AI‑generated suggestions and validating legal accuracy.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (LNNAUK, GPO, GTO) to support content strategy, workflow improvements, and product enhancements.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor degree.
• At least two years of recent practice experience in commercial law, preferably in advertising & marketing, supply of goods & services (UCC), or commercial litigation.
• Strong ability to monitor and interpret legal and regulatory developments within a specific practice area.
• Experience conducting legal research and applying findings to practical, user‑focused content.
