Lecturer/Assistant Professor & Program Director – Radiologic Technology

About the role

The College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services at Texas A&M University‑Texarkana seeks a dynamic academic leader to serve as Lecturer or Assistant Professor and Program Director for the Radiologic Technology program. This position provides both instructional expertise and administrative oversight to ensure high‑quality education and compliance with accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead program operations, including curriculum design, delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and advance program accreditation and assessment processes.
• Participate in budget planning and manage program resources.
• Teach didactic and/or clinical courses as needed.
• Supervise faculty and coordinate clinical partnership agreements.
• Monitor student outcomes, licensure pass rates, and job placement metrics.
• Serve as liaison with accrediting bodies, healthcare partners, and institutional leadership.

Required profile

• For Lecturer: Master’s degree in Radiologic Technology, at least one year of clinical experience, one year of instructional experience in a JRCERT‑accredited program, and current ARRT certification.
• For Assistant Professor: Doctoral degree in Radiologic Technology, three years of clinical experience, two years of instructional experience in a JRCERT‑accredited program, and current ARRT certification.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
