Lecturer – Radiologic Technology

About the role
We are seeking a Lecturer in Radiologic Technology to join the College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services at Texas A&M University‑Texarkana. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality didactic, laboratory and clinical instruction to students in the Radiologic Technology program.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain course syllabi, learning objectives, instructional materials and evaluation methods.
- Teach radiologic technology courses, including radiography, CT and/or MRI.
- Assess student performance, provide timely feedback and advise on academic and clinical progress.
- Participate in curriculum review, program assessment, accreditation and continuous quality improvement activities.
- Support the Program Director in ensuring regulatory compliance and program operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
- Current ARRT certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography.
- At least one year of clinical experience in radiologic technology (two years preferred).
- Experience in course development, instruction and academic advising.
Required skills
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Proficiency in radiography.
- Knowledge of computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
