Leasing Professional – West 5th, Los Angeles

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy and revenue for the West 5th community in Los Angeles. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospecting to move‑in, while ensuring resident satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements and move‑in packages, ensuring a smooth signing experience.
• Inspect units before move‑in and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform leasing strategies.
• Develop and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of leasing experience, preferably with lease‑up projects.
• Availability to work weekends as needed.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
