Leasing Professional – Wellington Apartments

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing and renewal activities for Wellington Apartments. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals through effective leasing, resident satisfaction and lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease and move‑in packages, ensure smooth resident move‑in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to address any issues.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the team.

Required profile

• Experience in leasing, sales or property management.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to qualify prospects.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet occupancy and revenue targets.
