Leasing Professional – Vlux Community

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing and renewal activities for the Vlux community at Peoria Heights. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals through full‑cycle leasing and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage resident and prospect data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.
