Leasing Professional – The Watt

About the role

The Watt community is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal initiatives. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through tours, applications, and move‑in processes while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and showcase available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing activities such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease documentation and unit inspections.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics and competitive positioning.
