Leasing Professional – The Terrace

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing and renewal activities for its community at The Terrace, Texas. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through tours, applications and move‑in while ensuring high occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure units are ready for residents.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospects.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage leasing paperwork and move‑in processes.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Proactive approach to marketing and community promotion.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
• Basic knowledge of credit screening and background check procedures.
