Leasing Professional – The Tenzing

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for The Tenzing community by managing all aspects of the leasing process and ensuring a high‑quality resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, and showcase available units.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure units are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and implement concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist, Facebook, and email.
• Utilize property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.
• Maintain show units and community areas to Greystar’s quality standards through daily inspections.

Required profile

• Proven ability to meet occupancy and revenue targets in a residential leasing environment.
• Strong understanding of local market dynamics and competitor activity.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation with a focus on resident satisfaction.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple leasing and marketing tasks simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns.
• Knowledge of credit screening and background check procedures.
